100 years of science is a powerful thing.
Founded in Japan in 1909, Ajinomoto, the maker of Amino Vital, was the first to discover and conduct extensive research on amino acids. In the 1950s, we entered the pharmaceutical industry and our development and research lead to the world’s first use of the intravenous amino acid therapy in hospitals in 1956.
Today, our products are unique in promoting cellular level muscle recovery, repair, and energy. The ability to absorb pure amino acids promotes increased energy and great focus.
Our customers come from every walk of life - from world champion athletes looking for powerful nutrition to medical staff looking to improve a patient's quality of life.
Amino acids play a critical role in all life on earth. Through our research and commitment, we’ve become a world leader in the amino acid market. Our goal is to improve our knowledge through ongoing research. We also aim to help people improve their nutrition, health, and overall wellness with advanced pharmaceutical products of the highest quality and purity.
The Ajinomoto Group is committed to continue working as a responsible member of the international community, and its employees are proud to help contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals through these activities.
Malnutrition affects nearly one billion people worldwide. For over a decade, we’ve been working in Pakistan, China, Syria and developing countries to conduct field studies using lysine to improve nutrition.
The University of Ghana has been helping us make this trial sustainable. Our goal is to provide nutritional improvement using this essential amino acid, and pave the way for future collaboration.
